Activity report - May 2024

The injured Jomtien dog has returned to his usual spot after completing his treatment. Blacky, a Pitbull mix left behind by neighbors, had a severe eye injury and needed to be treated by me at the front TVT for a week. Blacky has now been placed with Jutta following his treatment. Nacho sustained a serious mouth injury and spent a week at Dr. Oi's clinic. His injury has since healed very well. Edith recently developed skin issues and was treated until the end of the month. The treatment of Diudiu, Lizzy, Tinka, and Soda with Doxycycline and Ferric was completed at the end of the month after five weeks. Lena's treatment with saline and Renavast is ongoing.

In the middle of the month, four dogs from Beppe, three from Gop, Carla and Cora from the shelter, and the Pong-Park dogs Sharkey, Bella, and Randy were sterilized at a mobile SDF facility. Since Victor, Dahn, and Talib took over the front hall at Wat Amparahm, Deva, Dotty, and Jingo have been trying to find new places. Jingo now mainly stays by the beach wall; Deva has found a new shelter to hide in, and I have taken Dotty into the Pong shelter. She has settled well in the double gate area/TVT station. The relocation of Tara and Tanya to the Pat area was unsuccessful. Both dogs are now back in the house area and have been well received.
