Activity Report - February 2024
At the beginning of the month, I found Kofi and Jingo back at their spots on the beach and at the front hall. Noona, a dog from the neighboring house, had obviously been hit by a car and was operated on by Dr. Oi. Another dog and a puppy from the neighborhood also went to Dr. Oi's clinic for treatment. During the spaying of the dog, it was discovered that she was suffering from uterine infection and a hernia. The puppy had a bite wound on its neck. Both dogs returned to their owners at the end of the month.
I had three more female dogs and two newly arrived beach puppies sterilized at the Sudarat Clinic. Kenzo, who had lived in the shelter for five years and was taken in by Jutta a few weeks ago, has passed away. Tasha climbed over a two-meter-forty-high gate and was attacked in the neighboring area. I brought her to the clinic, but unfortunately, she passed away after an hour.
Victor, Talib, and Dahn were unhappy in their area, and since I didn't have another place for them in the shelter, I took them to Wat Amparahm. After visiting them every two days, they settled in at the front hall and seemed to be okay with their relocation. Paula, who was at the shelter for two weeks for treatment, also returned to the beach.
