Activity Report - September 2025

At the beginning of the month, Kenji passed away. I had taken him into the shelter many years ago, where he shared a space with young Shaina. Kenji lived to the age of sixteen and remained in good health right up until his final days. Shaina now lives alone in their area, though the door to the neighboring Dodger section is left open. The Dodger dogs and Shaina get along well.

The shelter dogs continue to be reliably cared for by Dieter and Pai three times a week. Their help is a great relief to me, even though I still need to keep up with my daily responsibilities at the shelter.

I also check in on the Pong Park dogs almost every day. They’re all in good shape, as are the dogs at Wat Amparahm, whom I look after every two weeks. Their daily care is still being handled by Ba Baet.
