Activity report - December 2024

By the end of the month, the care for the shelter dogs, temple dogs, and Pong Park dogs proceeds as usual. However, in the final days of the month, I have to take Tarik to Dr. Oi because he suffered a deep wound on his left front leg. Kira also needed treatment due to swelling on her flank, which required surgical removal of the tissue. Both dogs returned to the shelter after two days.

Ling became lethargic, and it was discovered that she had sustained kidney damage. Sadly, she had to be euthanized. Tibor, apparently searching for his brother Tarik, climbed the fence into a neighboring area and was fatally attacked there. Ruby also met a tragic end after wandering into the area near the large sala, where she was attacked and killed by the dogs there. She had strayed from the neighboring section she shared with Khiaow.

On New Year’s Eve, I stay with the dogs at the shelter. During the fireworks, some dogs panic and escape from their enclosures, but I manage to safely guide them all back without any injuries.
